The first teaser for the magician heist movie Now You See Me 2 has been released, and it features newcomer to the series Daniel Radcliffe.
“So happy to be working with you — ta-da!,” Radcliffe says as he flubs a magic trick when meeting the Four Horsemen.
The sequel stars Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine reprising their roles. Lizzy Caplan joins the team, replacing actress Isla Fisher. Radcliffe is portraying the son of Caine’s insurance magnate character, who is the Four Horsemen’s sponsor.
Now You See Me debuted back in 2013 and grossed $350 million worldwide, from an estimated $75 million budget. Lionsgate expects the sequel to top the original and has even confirmed plans for Now You See Me 3.
Now You See Me 2, directed by Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), is set to release June 10th, 2016.
