Watch Deleted Scenes from ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’

This week, Lionsgate released two deleted scenes from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.

The first scene, which fans had to unlock through an Internet scavenger hunt, features Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and President Snow (Donald Sutherland). In the clip, the two have a tense conversation in which President Snow demands that Peeta help him in suppressing the uprising.

On Tuesday, Lionsgate released a more humorous deleted scene in which Effie (Elizabeth Banks) reprimands those who were doing Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) makeup for her propaganda spots as the Mockingjay.

The deleted scenes were shown as a way to promote today’s digital release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part I. The film will also be available on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on March 6.
