Mary Shelley’s classic tale Frankenstein is once again heading to the big screen.
20th Century Fox released the first trailer for its upcoming film Victor Frankenstein on Tuesday. The film stars Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe and X-Men: First Class’s James McAvoy, who introduce the film’s trailer together.
McAvoy takes on the title role, while Radcliffe plays his assistant Igor. In the story, the two attempt to figure out the secret to immortality, but their experiments inadvertently create a monster. The film will focus on Igor’s perspective as he tries to save his friend from descending into madness.
The horror drama also stars Downton Abbey’s Jessica Brown Findlay, Sherlock’s Andrew Scott and Mark Gatiss, and Freddie Fox. Paul McGuigan is directing, and Max Landis penned the script.
Victor Frankenstein is slated to hit theaters November 25th.
