‘Toy Story 4’ Coming to the Big Screen in 2015

According to Colombian news site Terra (via Bleeding Cool), Disney and Pixar have confirmed that Toy Story 4 will be coming to the big screen in 2015.

Even though Toy Story 3 seemed to have wrapped up the beloved Pixar franchise starring Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the gang, they are not gone forever.  Disney had previously set a November 2015 release date for a “unnamed” Pixar film.

A November release date is not uncommon for the Toy Story franchise.  Toy Story 1 and 2 were released in November 1995 & 1999.  The only film in the franchise that had a summer release date was Toy Story 3, which became the most successful release of the three.  The film would go on to gross over $1 billion at the box office and nabbed nominations for Best Picture and Best Animated Feature film.

Of course our favorites Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack are all allegedly set to return to voice Woody, Buzz and Jessie, respectively.

Keep in mind that Disney and Pixar are already prepping a Halloween special titled Toy Story of Terror and are working on two half-hour Toy Story specials that would air on ABC in the next two years.
