‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ Trailer Has Arrived

The Mockinjay lives, and Katniss is ready to fight. After a slew of teasers addressed to Panem courtesy of President Snow (Donald Sutherland), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 has revealed its first teaser trailer.

The anticipated trailer debuted at San Diego’s Comic-Con and features the face of the rebellious Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) prepared to fight against the tyrannical Capitol in order to unite the districts.

Snow is shown in the minute clip banning the Mockingjay logo, which has come to be a symbol of rebellion.

In the third installment of the franchise, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman appears as the rebel leader Plutarch Heavensbee, alongside Julianna Moore, who plays President Alma Coin.

Additional cast members returning to reprise their roles are Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, and Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket. Josh Hutcherson will be playing the brainwashed Peeta, who is led to believe that Katniss is the enemy.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 hits theaters November 21, 2014.
