Superbowl Champion Simeon Rice Makes Directorial Debut with UNSULLIED
Lambert Releasing today announced UNSULLIED, the feature film directorial debut of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end and NFL Super Bowl champion Simeon Rice, will open theatrically nationwide on August 28, 2015.
Directed by Rice and co-written by Rice and John Nodilo, UNSULLIED is a suspense thriller that follows Reagan, a track star, who is kidnapped by a pair of sociopaths after her car breaks down on a deserted road. Trapped and afraid, Reagan soon realizes her captors love the thrill of “the hunt,” and she is the hunted. Reagan must use her wits and physical prowess to escape her tormentors and find her way to freedom, while putting together the pieces of a horrifying puzzle. UNSULLIED stars Houston born Murray Gray, in her feature film debut, Rusty Joiner (BEHAVING BADLY, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION), and James Gaudioso.
“UNSULLIED is a modern suspense thriller. I based it on the films I like – hoping to evoke some of the cult classics of times gone by,” said Rice. UNSULLIED looks at life off the grid in a world controlled by money and greed and an insatiable thirst to catch the ultimate prey –human beings. Its story is a very dangerous game of kill or be killed, and I hope this action packed drama, with its cast of exciting new talents, captures the audience and leaves them wanting more.
UNSULLIED is a Dreamline Pictures production. The film is produced by Michelle Gracie, Ghana Cooper and John Nodilo, with Rice serving as executive producer.
