‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Schedules World Premiere

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will have its world premiere in Los Angeles, California on December 14th.

It is currently unknown what venue the premiere will be held at and whether tickets will be sold to the general public.

The newest installment of the Star Wars saga will hit theaters in the United States on December 18th. The film will open sooner in other countries, arriving in theaters in the United Kingdom on December 17th and in France on December 16th.

Disney and Lucasfilm intend to keep details about the film concealed, so there may be limited press screenings ahead of its official release.

Cast members from the original Star Wars, including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew, will all appear in the new film, which was directed by J.J. Abrams. John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Max von Sydow and Lupita Nyong’o will also star.
