‘Star Wars’ Returns with ‘Rogue One’ Trailer

The first trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, was released Thursday. It will be the first  standalone film to take place in the Star Wars universe.

The story is set before the events of Episode IV: A New Hope and centers around a team from the Rebel Alliance who stole the construction plans for the original Death Star.

The film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker. It is being directed by Gareth Edwards.
