Star Wars Celebration, a fan festival for the film series, is happening in London this weekend. A panel for the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was held Friday, and new footage of the film was released.
The sizzle reel contains a behind the scenes look at the making of the film, which is full of stunts and explosions as well as a peek at beach planet Scarif.
“If you’re too respectful of [the original Star Wars movies], and you daren’t do anything new or different or take a risk, then what’re you bringing to the table?” director Gareth Edwards says in the clip.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story precedes Episode IV: A New Hope and follows a team of Rebel Alliance spies who attempt to steal the plans for the Empire’s Death Star. It stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker.
