‘Mechanic: Resurrection’: Jason Statham is Out for Blood

Jason Statham is returning to his role as professional assassin Arthur Bishop in Mechanic: Ressurection, the sequel to 2011’s The Mechanic, which was a loose remake of the 1972 film of the same name starring Charles Bronson and Jan-Michael Vincent. In both The Mechanic and its sequel, Statham’s character must kill multiple people and make their deaths look like accidents.

In addition to Statham, the sequel stars Jessica Alba, Tommy Lee Jones, and Michelle Yeoh. Check out the official synopsis from Lionsgate below:

Arthur Bishop [Jason Statham] returns as the Mechanic in the sequel to the 2011 action thriller. When the deceitful actions of a cunning but beautiful woman [Jessica Alba] force him to return to the life he left behind, Bishop’s life is once again in danger as he has to complete an impossible list of assassinations of the most dangerous men in the world.
