Marlon Wayans & Regina Hall Get ‘Naked’ With Netflix

On Wednesday (September 21st), Netflix announced its new romantic comedy, Naked, which is to star Marlon Wayans and Regina Hall.

“The response I’ve gotten from fans worldwide to my films on Netflix has been overwhelming,” said Wayans. “And I’m thrilled to be working with them on an original film. Also, I’m excited to be working with Regina again.”

In Naked, Wayans will star as Rob Anderson, “a charming man-child, who wakes up on his wedding day, naked in an elevator, reliving the hour before the ceremony over and over again.”

Michael Tiddes, who directed A Haunted House and Fifty Shades of Black, will helm the film – based on the 2000 Swedish film, Naken. It is penned by Cory Koller, Rick Alvarez and Wayans.

Naked – which will go into production in October – is set to premiere on Netflix in 2017.
