Mark Ruffalo To Star As Hulk In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Mark Ruffalo is set to star as Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk, opposite Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in Marvel’s Thor: Rognarok.
Reprising their roles as Loki and Lady Sif are Tom Hiddleston and Jaimie Alexander, respectively. Taika Waititi is said to be on board to direct the film, which will begin production in 2016.
Penned by Christopher Yost (Thor: The Dark World) and Craig Kyle, Thor: Ragnarok will take place somewhere else other than Earth and Asgard.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who will produce the film, said last October: “[Ragnarok] is a very important word, which means essentially ‘the end of all things.’ It’s a very important movie for us in our Phase 3 timeline, changing everything that comes after it.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film will “pick up immediately after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which featured Thor having an apocalyptic cave-vision.”
Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to hit theaters on November 3rd, 2017.
