According to Deadline, Magic Mike will be adapted into a Broadway musical.
Steven Soderbergh and Channing Tatum are looking at a summer 2013 bow for Magic Mike: The Musical. The duo will produce with Gregory Jacobs, Nick Wechsler and Reid Carolin. Carolin penned the screenplay and will also write the book for the stage musical.
Directed by Soderbergh, the film stars Tatum, Matthew McConaughy, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer. Magic Mike is inspired by Tatum’s experiences as a stripper in Tampa, FL.
