‘Madagascar 3’ Passes $500M Overseas

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is on its way to becoming DreamWorks Animation’s highest grossing film overseas. Madagascar 3 reached the $500 million overseas box office mark on Tuesday, bringing its international total to $500.5M.

Madagascar 3 is on its way to beating DreamWorks Animation top international title Shrek Forever After, which totaled $513.9M at the international box office. Currently ‘Madagascar 3’ has taken Kung Fu Panda 2‘s spot which was the 2nd highest-grossing DreamWorks Animation title of all time internationally.
