Rap star Lil Wayne will voice a character in Pixar’s upcoming flick The Good Dinosaur, a film that follows a journey between a boy and his pet dinosaur in today’s world. During production Weezy will work alongside Jason Alexander, John Ratzenberger and Joan Rivers on the film. There is no word yet on exactly which character Wayne will play in the new Pixar film.
The film’s synopsis ask, “What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?”
The Good Dinosaur will be directed by Bob Peterson and Peter Sohn, both of whom previously worked on the animated film Up back in 2007. The duo are also well-known for their work on the Cars and Toy Story franchises.
The Good Dinosaur will hit theaters in May 2014.
