Abe Vigoda, famous for his role in The Godfather franchise, has passed away at the age of 94. Vigoda passed away under hospice care in New Jersey.
The actor played the role of Salvatore Tessio in The Godfather, and The Godfather II. The role catapulted Vigoda in to several films and TV shows including Fantasy Island, Look Who’s Talking and famously Barney Miller.
His death has been falsely reported many times, dating back to 1982.
Abe leaves behind his daughter, Carol Vigoda Fuchs. He was married to Beatrice Schy from 1968 until she passed in 1992.
