Lady Gaga-Bradley Cooper’s ‘A Star Is Born’ Gets Release Date

A Star Is Born is set to shine in 2018

Warner Bros. announced a release date for the new A Star Is Born film starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper: September 28, 2018.

Cooper is also making his directorial debut with the film.

The musical drama will mark the the fourth version of A Star Is Born, which follows the story of a woman looking for a career in Hollywood who falls in love with a male movie star. As she rises to fame, the man’s career fades. The previous versions include one in 1937 starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, one in 1954 with James Mason and Judy Garland, and one in 1976 starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

Warner Bros. also announced a few other release dates for upcoming films.

Rampage, an action thriller starring Dwayne Johnson, will arrive in theaters April 20, 2018.

Everything, Everything, an adaptation of the young adult novel of the same name by Nicola Yoon in which a girl is allergic to nearly everything, stars Jurassic World‘s Nick Robinson and Hunger Games‘ Amandla Stenberg and is slated to hit theaters August 18, 2017. It also stars Anika Noni Rose, Taylor Hickson and Ana de la Reguera.
