Warner Bros. released further details about its upcoming film Justice League Tuesday, including the logo (pictured above), the synopsis, and a peek at the new Batmobile.
Check out the synopsis for the DC Comics film, which began filming last week and will be directed by Zack Snyder:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot will reprise their roles from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, respectively. It is unclear how Superman will return, considering he sacrificed himself in the previous film. Ezra Miller will also star as the Flash, Jason Momoa will portray Aquaman, and Ray Fisher will play Cyborg. Amber Heard and J.K. Simmons are part of the cast as well, and it is being reported that Willem Dafoe will portray Nuidis Vulko, Aquaman’s chief adviser.
The villain of the film will reportedly be Steppenwolf who will be created with CGI. It is unknown who will voice the character yet.
In addition, the first photo for the Batmobile for the film has been released:
Justice League is set to hit theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
