‘Jumanji’ Release Date Pushed To December 2017

Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji has been pushed back for a Christmas 2017 debut, the actor confirmed on Instagram.

“We were always slated to be released summer of 2017, but after months of shooting and editing our movie together, we realized we have a big family franchise on our hands, that’s full of Christmas wish fulfillment, fun, and heart,” said Johnson.

The film, which was initially set to hit theaters during the summer, on July 28th, 2017, will now be released on December 22nd, 2017. Jumanji also stars Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart.

The Rock’s other upcoming releases include Disney’s Moana on November 23rd and Rock The Troops on Christmas.
