John Cena: “I’m the opposite of Vince McMahon”

The F9 cast is stacked, with John Cena being latest member to join the gang, playing Dominic Torreto’s brother, Jakob. The wrestler turned actor is arguably the best casting choice to play opposite Vin Diesel, as their personalities and physical build make it very believable. Cena spoke with our own Dave Morales about a variety of topics, including how his busy schedule allows for sleep. He says, “I’m probably the opposite of Vince McMahon. I think he gets about 90 minutes of sleep a day and I get at least 8 hours and if I go without, I make sure to just clear my schedule.” Cena goes on to say that Vince McMahon was the first person he told about his new Fast and Furious role. He tells Dave with a smile on his face, “He always is looking for new places to grow and expand and truly is thankful and genuine when people succeed.”

Cena is very much involved in many projects including commercials and films. Fans are anxiously awaiting his WWE return, with many speculating we could see that during Summer Slam against Roman Reigns. Nothing is confirmed for now, so we’ll just enjoy seeing him on the big screen for now. F9 races into theaters June 25th.
