First Washington, now Hollywood. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is having a movie made about her life.
“Rodham”, being written by rookie screenwriter Young II Kim, tells the behind-the-scenes story of Bill and Hillary before the White House.
The script exhibits Hillary’s path to Washington as well as the tough decision she had to make between her career and her politically ambitious boyfriend from Arkansas.
Kim said he was inspired to write the film after seeing a photo of Clinton “when she was in her 20s with Coke-bottle glasses and long, hippie hair.”
According to an annual poll voted on by Hollywood film executives, “Rodham” was the fourth-hottest unproduced script in Hollywood.
There is still no word on who will be cast in the film, but Hillary did mention that she’d like Meryl Streep to play her part in the movie.
