Harvey Weinstein Plans to Destroy NRA with Next Film Project

During an interview with Howard Stern, film executive Harvey Weinstein revealed his plan to construct an anti-gun film aimed towards the National Rifle Association.

“I’m going to make a movie with Meryl Streep, and we’re going to take this head-on. And they’re going to wish they weren’t alive after I’m done with them,” said Weinstein.

Weinstein went on to explain that the feature length motion picture is expected to be “a big movie, like a Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” and when moviegoers leave the theater they will be left thinking, “Gun stocks- I don’t want to be involved in that stuff. It’s going to be like crash and burn.”

While the NRA has yet to comment on the matter, radio host Mike Slater expressed that Weinstein and other Hollywood gun control advocates are being to hypocritical, for “Harvey and his friends have built their careers on making incredibly violent movies and they have contributed to this desensitizing to violence in America.”
