Stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress has joined the cast of the upcoming Sony and Marvel film Spider-Man: Homecoming. The comedian has been busy with many film projects lately, with his upcoming films The Secret Life of Pets and The Masterpiece set to be released this year. He will also be featured in Baywatch next year. It is currently unknown what his role in Homecoming will be.
It was also revealed Monday that three newcomers are joining Homecoming: Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and J.J. Totah. In addition, Donald Glover, Logan Marshall-Green, Zendaya and Tony Revolori were recently added to the cast.
Tom Holland will star as Spider-Man/Peter Parker. He was first seen in the role in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War this year. The cast will also include Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Michael Keaton as a villain, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark.
Jon Watts is directing the film, which was penned by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Production for the film began in Atlanta Monday. Holland shared a photo:
