First Teaser for Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Released

Director Michael Bay has gone to Instagram to share a teaser for the fifth installment in the Transformers franchise.

The clip features the appearance of an old foe for the Autobots: Megatron! The leader of the Decepticons’ last appearance was in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, where he was killed by the hero Optimus Prime.

The fifth installment, Transformers: The Last Knight was announced last week with production starting this week in Cuba. Bay told Rolling Stone this will be his final film stating that “I’m doing Transformers 5, is it? I’ve taken on a lot of work. It’s fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see. ‘But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else.”

The last film in the franchise, Age of Extinction has grossed over a billion dollars world wide. With that type of blockbuster cash fueling through the Transformers films, why not make another film?!

Transformers: The Last Knight is in theaters June 23, 2017!
