A Pflugerville home that was being used as a green room to store wardrobe and filming equipment on the set of Transformers 4 burst into flames Tuesday night. Emergency responders arrived to the 100 year old home around 7:25 p.m. were they quickly extinguished the flames that engulfed the attic.
While the attic suffered substantial damage, responders arrived quickly enough to extinguish the flames before it spread to the rest of the home. Officials believe the accidental fire was caused by burning embers form the movies pyrotechnic equipment.
Transformers 4 is the latest installment into the action franchise and is due to hit theaters in June of 2014.
