DC secured one of the biggest actors on the planet for Black Adam, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Not much is known about this movie. There is no trailer. There is no set footage. Dwayne himself confirmed that this film has been in pre-production hell for over a decade. And yet, even with all of that news, you can’t help but be excited at the possibility of Dwayne Johnson flying into combat against Superman.
The Black Adam panel provided the audience with plenty of concept art with “The Rock” portraying Black Adam and allowed him to answer fan questions about his upcoming role. He confirmed that Noah Centineo will portray Atom Smasher in the film and that multiple characters from the Justice Society Of America (JSA) including Dr. Fate, Cyclone and Hawkman will make an appearance in the movie. Black Adam is scheduled to arrive December 22nd, 2021.
