Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may or may not have just posted a video showing off his graphic hand injury.
In the Instagram clip, the actor revealed from the set of his upcoming film Central Intelligence a look at his broken finger — which looked quite believable. A rep from New Line clarified that it’s only a prank featuring a prosthetic hand that appears to be broken.
“I just stepped off set,” he says in the video. “My director, Rawson Thurber, just ran up to me — we had a little accident — and he said, ‘Are you bleeding?’ I said, ‘Bleed?’” Johnson said, as the camera panned to his distraught finger, adding, “I ain’t got time to bleed. Alright, let’s pop this son-of-a-b***h back in.”
In Central Intelligence, Johnson plays a CIA contract killer who reconnects with his old friend, played by Kevin Hart, a former high school sports star-turned-accountant. Johnson proceeds to rope him into helping foil a plot to sell classified military secrets.
Thurber (We’re The Millers) is directing from a script penned by Ike Barinholtz and Dave Stassen, with Warner Bros.-based New Line on board to produce the film.
