Disney Eyeing Chris Pratt For Indiana Jones Reboot

Disney may have their sight set on Chris Pratt to star in a new Indiana Jones reboot.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is in contention to star as Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones,  Jr. in the upcoming Disney reboot, a role made famous by Harrison Ford in Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Disney bought the Indiana Jones film franchise rights from Paramount in 2013 and are currently “eyeing” Pratt to play the new “Indy”.

Pratt is the third actor rumored to play Dr. Jones for Disney. Bradley Cooper and Robert Pattinson were rumored to be in contention as well.

Disney CEO Bob Iger reportedly said the studio is “pacing itself” and plans to work on the Indiana Jones reboot after they launch Star Wars: The Force Awakens in late 2015. Disney has yet to comment on whether Pratt will star in the Indiana Jones reboot.
