Black Panther Sequel Stirs Namor Rumors with Casting Call

It’s rare that a casting is discovered that reveals a potential piece of a major film. As we know, actor Tenoch Huerta was cast in an unknown role in the upcoming Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever. Fans have speculated that he will be playing Namor the Submariner and it looks like that just may be factual.

A recent casting notice revealed what the studio is searching for. It says they’re in need of “two SCUBA DIVERS with COMPLETE SCUBA GEAR/EQUIPMENT to be divers at a crime scene”. With the call being rather specific, many are speculating that Namor will be causing some trouble underwater.

If he looks familiar, that’s because Huerta starred in The Forever Purge and the Narcos: Mexico series. Most of his IMDB credits are from Spanish films so he will be fairly new to the American genre.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is still scheduled to release July 2022.
