BioShock Movie In Development

It is reported that Netflix and Take-Two Interactive currently have a BioShock movie in development.

The award-winning gaming franchise started in 2007 and grew to include 3 games as well as various re-releases, remastered collections, and a new installment in the franchise on the way.

This marks the 3rd time BioShock has been attempted, with director Gore Verbinski (PiratesOf The Caribbean) once attached to direct. 2K will produce the adaptation with Vertigo Entertainment. No word yet on whether or not the film will be live-action or animated.
