Earlier this year, fans went crazy over the release of the first teaser for Disney’s upcoming live action version of Beauty and the Beast, which became the most viewed trailer in the first twenty-four hours of its release.
Now, thanks to Jack Morrissey who is co-producing the film, pictures of candlestick Lumière (voiced by Ewan McGregor), clock Cogsworth (voiced by Ian McKellen), Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, and Dan Stevens as the Prince/Beast have been released.
Morrissey posted the following pictures on his Facebook page and mentions they are pictures taken from a “Sneak Peek” bonus feature that will appear on the 25th anniversary edition of the animated classic Beauty and the Beast that is set to be released next month on Blu-Ray, DVD, and home video.
For the picture of Lumière and Cogworth, Morrissey notes that it is concept art. “These designs are close but may not be final,” he wrote.
The second image shows Gaston and Le Fou in a tavern. “Here’s a moment of b-roll from a take on the “Gaston” musical number,” Morrissey said.
The third image gives a look at Dan Stevens in his role as the Beast/Prince.
Beauty and the Beast, directed by Bill Condon, also stars Emma Watson, Kevin Kline, Emma Thompson, and Stanley Tucci and dances into theaters March 17, 2017.
The 25th anniversary edition of the animated Beauty and the Beast arrives on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on September 6th and Blu-ray/DVD on September 20th.
