Variety is reporting that “Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher has been cast to play Steve Jobs in the indie pic “Jobs,” which Joshua Michael Stern (“Swing Vote”) will direct from a script by Matt Whiteley.
The film will portray the life of the Apple founder from his early days to becoming one of the biggest innovators of our time.
Production for the film, titled “Jobs,” begins in May while Kutcher is on hiatus from the CBS television series.
This is not the only movie in the works about Jobs as Sony Pictures has also announced it’s own production, based on the bestselling book by Walter Isaacson.
