It has been confirmed that Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum’s box office hit 21 Jump Street has a sequel in the works.
Jonah and Channing’s 21 Jump Street, originally based on an ’80s cop drama with Johnny Depp, won over audiences last spring and became one of the funniest comedies of the year. The movie raked in more than $192 million worldwide and has been given the green light for a sequel.
Channing confirmed to a fan today on twitter saying “Jonah and I are working on it” when told for a sequel to be made.
Agree. @JonahHill and I are working on it. RT @anaisamendoza: I Think They Should Make A Second 21 Jump Street. @channingtatum Do You Agree?
Jonah Hill not only rocked 21 Jump Street with his co-star Channing Tatum but also help write it as well. Jonah would like to do the same in the sequel.
At this point the script is still in development, so there’s no sights yet on when 21 Jump Street 2 might hit theaters.
