About Tera Stidum
Stidum is a six-time Emmy nominated TV producer with nearly 20 years of experience. She has worked closely beside Dr. Phil, Suze Orman and Steve Harvey. After meeting her husband through a dating website in 2015, she discovered a new passion for wanting to help other singles. She then successfully started her company, “She Dates Savvy.” Through her company, she hosts dating workshops and coaches successful, single individuals on how to date smarter online. Some of these workshops include how to understand the unique world of dating on and off the web.
“My whole career is based on relationships” said Stidum. “All of those relationships emerged together to what I call a wonderful career.” Stidum had graduated with the University of Houston in 1999 with a degree in Journalism. Furthermore, she continued her profession as a producer, to come back and complete her degree at UH in 2020. After completing her degree and pursuing her career with channel KPRC 2 for 7 years, Stidum wanted to pursue her true passion and business as well as find love.

Stidum’s passion for helping others has brought attention to her character. Along with her selflessness, she has published her second book. The book is titled: “Smart Girls Still Date Dumb: A Smart Girl’s Guide to Dating During an Era of Egocentric Men, Guys Who Ghost, and Social Distance Dating.” Stidum released the book in July of 2020 when Covid peaked.

With the added stress of the pandemic, somehow virtual dating has taken off like never before. As reported by CNBC, “Bumble saw a 26% increase in the number of messages sent on its platform. Tinder saw the length of conversations rise by 10-30%, and elite dating app Inner Circle saw messages rise over 116% over that same time period.” With dating apps thriving during this time, Stidum managed to earn more popularity with her already successful tips for online dating.
