Disney Releases ‘Frozen’ Wedding Gown

Disney and bridal designer Alfred Angelo have finally unveiled the latest edition of the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings bridal collection.

Angelo’s real Queen Elsa-inspired dress, suitably named “Elsa,” made its way down the runway on Wednesday, October 8^th at Bridal Fashion week in New York City. The frosted blue flared sheath gown, beaded from its sweetheart neckline down to just below the waist, is one of the eight Disney-inspired dresses created for the collection.

A ruby “Snow White,” pale blue “Cinderella,” and purple “Jasmine” accompanied “Elsa” down the runway for this season. If you are more of a traditional bride, all of the colorful gowns will be available for purchase in ivory.

“Along with the silhouettes and embellishments of each gown, color gives us another way to bring the magic of Disney’s imagined storytelling to life and allow brides to express their individuality on their special day,” said Michele Piccione, chief creative officer and family member at Alfred Angelo.

Less than a month ago, Disney and bridal designer Alfred Angelo teased Frozen fans with a sketch of a Frozen-inspired wedding gown on Instagram, and soon it could be yours to wear on your wedding day. Not only will the bride be able to dress as the “Let It Go” heroine, but her flower girl will be able to, as well. The blue flower girl dress, encrusted with jewels on the bodice, will be available in the upcoming bridal collection.

The 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings bridal collection by Alfred Angelo will be available online and in Alfred Angelo stores this January.
