Spencer illustrates the importance of forgiveness.
BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with actress Octavia Spencer in this backstage interview to talk about her role in The Shack, a Christian-based film based on Paul Young’s 2007 novel of the same name.
In the interview, the actress illustrated how she was first a fan of the book, drawn to the “thriller aspect” and the “faith aspect,” and discussed the importance of forgiving and forgetting.
“If you don’t forgive you, like Mack, find yourself in a place where you can’t move on,” Spencer explained. “Your life can’t move on in a very productive way. I tend to forgive and forget.”
