Ryan Reynolds thanks Disney for ‘Free Guy’ Easter Eggs

Reviews are out and Free Guy is shaping up to be one of the biggest action-comedies we’ve seen in a while! Ryan Reynolds stars in a hilarious movie about a guy who finds out he is a character in a video game.

BackstageOL’s own Dave Morales recently sat down with Reynolds to discuss the film. People who have already seen it have made comments that there are many surprises. The regards to that, the actor says, “…there’s some Easter eggs that could only happen through that… relationship.”

With Marvel being under the Disney umbrella, it’s not wild to assume that we might get some cameos from some of our favorite superheroes. Fans on social media are hoping for Deadpool to appear somewhere in the film. How awesome would that be?

To the surprise of critics everywhere, Free Guy has been very well received, even scoring a Certified Fresh rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s one of the many films whose release date was affected by the pandemic.
