Rosario Dawson Initially Turned Down ‘Unforgettable’ Role

Dawson talks Unforgettable, Star Wars and more!

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with Rosario Dawson in this backstage interview to talk about the upcoming drama/thriller Unforgettable, directed by Denise Di Novi.

In the interview, Dawson explained why she initially turned down the role to play Julia Banks and why she ultimately decided to join the cast. “I just really love Denise,” the Marvel actress said. “She really convinced me to come on board with her.”

As for the fight scene between Dawson and Katherine Heigl’s character, she told us, “It was very wrestlemania.”

Synopsis:

Barely coping with the end of her marriage, Tessa Connover learns that her ex-husband David is now happily engaged to Julia. Trying to settle into her new life, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her forget her troubled past.
