Robin Wright: ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Is A Movie Event

Blade Runner 2049 is a “movie event” you don’t want to miss!

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with Robin Wright in this backstage interview to talk about her sci-fi thriller Blade Runner 2049.

Wright portrays Lieutenant Joshi in the film, who’s in charge of Gosling’s character at the LAPD. In the interview, Wright explained that while Ridley Scott’s original classic is a “cult film”, Denis Villeneuve’s sequel is great as a standalone.

The film’s synopsis:

Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who’s been missing for 30 years.
