Raya and the Last Dragon: Backstage with Kelly Marie Tran & Disney Creators

Raya and the Last Dragon star Kelly Marie Tran and the production team from Walt Disney Animation Studios join Dave Morales for a backstage look at the movie featuring Disney’s first Southeast Asian princess.

Featured in the interview are Kelly Marie Tran (“Raya”), co-directors Don Hall and Carlos Lopez Estrada, writers Qui Nguyen and Adele Lim, plus producer Osnat Shurer.

Raya and the Last Dragon is now in theaters and streaming via Disney+ Premier Access.

Synopsis: Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. However, when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned, and it’s up to a lone warrior to track down the last dragon and stop the Druun for good.
