Max Greenfield Talks ‘New Girl’ & Taking A Punch From Woody Harrelson In THE GLASS CASTLE

Greenfield talks about his two opposite roles.

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with Max Greenfield in this backstage interview to talk about Destin Daniel Cretton’s drama The Glass Castle, a film based on Jeannette Walls’s 2005 memoir of the same name.

In the interview, Greenfield talked about the new season of the beloved sitcom New Girl, the complete change of tone in Glass Castle, what it was like to get punched by co-star Woody Harrelson and more!

The film’s synopsis:

Based on a memoir, four siblings must learn to take care of themselves as their responsibility-averse, free-spirit parents both inspire and inhibit them. When sober, the children’s brilliant and charismatic father captured their imagination, teaching them physics, geology, and how to embrace life fearlessly. But when he drank, he was dishonest and destructive. Meanwhile, their mother abhorred the idea of domesticity and didn’t want to take on the work of raising a family.

The Glass Castle hits theaters August 11th. For more from Greenfield, check out the full interview below!
