Lukas Nelson Wrote 8 Songs For ‘A Star Is Born’

Nelson is following in the family business!

Singer/Songwriter Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson, talks to Dave Morales about his new film A Star Is Born. Nelson, who appears as a member of the band, backs leading stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

For the film’s soundtrack, Nelson worked with both Gaga and Cooper to co-write eight songs.

The film’s synopsis:

Seasoned musician Jackson Maine discovers — and falls in love with — struggling artist Ally. She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer until Jackson coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jackson fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.
