“Don’t start what you can’t finish…” – Kevin Costner
Kevin Costner has nearly done it all in his historic career in acting. Dances With Wolves, Criminal, Hidden Figures, McFarland USA, the list goes on and on. He has won Oscars, Golden Globes, and Primetime Emmys. Costner has “been around the block” and lead the strong cast in Let Him Go. In this film, a retired sheriff and his wife must fight to rescue their grandson from a menacing frontier family. It stars Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Lesley Manville, Will Brittain, Jeffery Donovan, Kayli Carter, and Booboo Stewart.
We spoke to Kevin Costner and his co-star Diane Lane about not only developing the tension found within the script.
“I felt the intensity of the film from the first reading. The story of an older couple who has seen hell before, and yet still dive headfirst into the flames.”
Diane Lane spoke about the nuance between the families that reaches a boiling point.
“Be careful of the company you keep and the people you entertain. Some people hold grudges. Others feel as though they’re not important enough.”
Let Him Go will release in select theaters on Friday, November 6th.
