Keri Hilson: The ‘Almost Christmas’ Cast is ‘Amazing’

Almost Christmas features a star-studded cast, which includes singer Keri Hilson.

The Christmas season is rapidly approaching, bringing along the release of new holiday films.

In Almost Christmas, a patriarch invites his four grown children and their families to come home for the holidays with the hope that they will all get along. The film features a plethora of stars, including Kimberly Elise, Mo’Nique, Nicole Ari Parker, Gabrielle Union, Jessie Usher, Danny Glover, Omar Epps, John Michael Higgins, Keri Hilson, DC Young Fly, and Romany Malco.

“It’s an ensemble cast, but full of greats, people that are genius,” Hilson remarked of the film. “My favorite scene actually, I was surrounded by just greatness. Literally to my left at the dinner table was Danny Glover. In front of me is Gabrielle Union. To my right is Kimberly Elise. I could stop there and just tell you that I was just a sponge just taking it all in, like watching them go from themselves back to character and just, you know, seeing how prepared and professional they were.”

“Even though this wasn’t my first film, it very much felt like my first real learning experience,” she added. “Not to slight any other films that I’ve done, but this was just like another level of just watching creative genius at work.”
