Jason Statham VS 30 Killer Sharks | ‘The Meg’ Interview

The actor swam with sharks to prepare for his role.

The Meg superstar Jason Statham shares his story with Dave Morales about the time he went diving with over 30 bull sharks without a cage. The new sci-fi action film, directed by Jon Turteltaub, is based on the 1997 book Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror by Steve Alten.

The film’s synopsis:

A massive creature attacks a deep-sea submersible, leaving it disabled and trapping the crew at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. With time running out, rescue diver Jonas Taylor must save the crew and the ocean itself from an unimaginable threat — a 75-foot-long prehistoric shark known as the Megalodon.
