Ben Stiller & Austin Abrams On BRAD’S STATUS

Brad’s Status hit theaters September 15th!

BackstageOL’s Dave Morales sat down with Ben Stiller and Austin Abrams in this backstage interview to talk about their roles in comedy-drama Brad’s Status.

In the interview, Stiller and Abrams jokingly explained how sparks flew when they first met, the ideal father/son connection! The actors also shared what it was like to play their roles – a father who is going through a midlife crisis (Stiller) who has a son (Abrams) that has to learn how to deal with it.

The film’s synopsis:

Brad Sloan has a satisfying career and a comfortable life in suburban California, but it’s not quite what he imagined during his glory days in college. Sloan keeps comparing his life with those of his four college friends, wondering what it would be like to have their well-paying and glamorous jobs. When circumstances force Brad to reconnect with his buddies, he soon begins to question whether he has failed, or is in some ways the most successful of them all.
