Amy Ryan On Her Emotional Role In BEAUTIFUL BOY

Dave Morales takes you backstage with Amy Ryan for her emotional role in the drug-addiction drama, Beautiful Boy. The film is based on the best-selling pair of memoirs from father and son David and Nic Sheff. Ryan, who teams up with “The Office” co-star Steve Carell for the film, shares her experience on set and how she prepared for her role as Vicki Sheff.

The film’s synopsis:

Teenager Nicolas Sheff seems to have it all — good grades, editor of the school newspaper, actor, artist and athlete. When Nic’s addiction to meth threatens to destroy him, his desperate father does whatever he can to save his son and his family.
