In a blog post, Sony announced its next State of Play live stream for Wednesday, March 9th. The showcase will go live at 4 P.M. CT and run for 20 minutes.
No word on what games will be featured during the 20-minute live stream. However, Sony did tease that the showcase would have “a special focus on highlighting great games coming from some of our beloved Japanese publishers.”
State of Play returns this Wednesday, March 9. Tune in at 2 PM PT for about 20 minutes of PS4 & PS5 first looks and updates, with a special focus on games coming from our Japan publishers.
Does this mean that we will finally be getting a release date or new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI? Well, the timing does seem right. The last time we got any news about Final Fantasy XVI, was when it was first revealed in September 2020.
Another big announcement that fans are hoping for is a PS5 upgrade for Bloodborne. With the release and success of Elden Ring, it seems like a perfect time to bring back one of PlayStation’s best titles.
