A New PS5 Model Incoming?

Just when you thought securing a Playstation 5 was difficult, a new PS5 model may be on the way!

According to Press Start, a gaming website based in Australia, a newly “revised” PS5 model has debuted. This new model weighs in nearly half a pound lighter. It also includes a new, different screw for the stand to attach to the base that can be adjusted without the use of a screwdriver.

These changes have appeared to both the digital and the disc models of the PS5.

Additional features that can also be expected in upcoming models on the hardware side include removable SSD storage.

As for software, a new beta is being rolled out that will bring new enhancements to the PS5s dashboard and updated support for 3d audio.

While they are not yet available in the US, Playstation 5 restocks are happening right before the holiday season. Stay vigilant!
