This morning during a Diablo Immortal Livestream, Blizzard announced that Diablo Immortal would be released on mobile this June. However, much to fans’ surprise Blizzard revealed that it would also be coming to PC.
Diablo Immortal was initially announced as a mobile game in 2018. Both versions of the game will be released on June 2, 2022.
They will also feature cross-play and cross-save between mobile and PC, letting players play together. This will allow players to jump smoothly between mobile to PC versions of the game and vice versa.
The PC version will support controllers and mouse and a keyboard. At launch the PC version will technically be an open beta version however, all progress will carry over to the final version of the game.
The story of Diablo Immortal takes place between Diablo II and Diablo III. Players will be able to choose from six classes – Barbarian, Monk, Necromancer, Demon Hunter, Crusader, and Wizard. The game will feature eight unique zones for players to explore in Sanctuary.
